Our trailers are built on proven agricutural chassis with a choice of either a 3,500kg tandem/tri-axle plaform or a tractor drawn fixed drawbar chassis. They can easily be towed by a tractor or a suitable 4x4 with a 3,500kg towing capacity. Standard equipment includes:
phenol coated plywood floor. independent suspension telescopic jockey wheel. full road lights.
3,5OOKG PLATFORM TANDEM AND TRI-AXLE CHASSIS
These platforms utilise a galvanised chassis with fully independent rubber suspension and overrun, auto reversing brakes. The hitch is hydraulically dampened with a 50mm ball (or agricultural option) with lockable cast coupling and power assisted handbrake.
Trailers are available in a variety of lengths from 12'(3.6m) to 23' (7m)
The standard width is 7'6" (2.3m) or 6'6" (2m) to special order.
Tandem axles are standard on trailers up to 18'(5.4m) long but tri-axles can be fitted as an extra cost option. Tri-axles are standard on 20'(6m) and 23'(7m) trailers.
TRACTOR DRAWN FIXED DRAWBAR CHASSIS
These chassis offer potentially better ground clearance and are suited for use on some of the more difficult tracks found on farms and estate land.
Tractor Drawn trailers have a galvanised single axle 4 ton chassis with hydraulic brakes fitted with a brake sensing valve. There is a separate hand operated parking brake, fixed drawbar with tow eyelet and removable "shoe plate" for parking.
The trailers are available in a variety of lengths from 16' (5.1m) up to 22' (6.6m) long. Standard width is 7'6" (2.3m).
For special orders we can supply a double axle tractor drawn chassis up to 30'(9m) long giving a potential carrying capacity of 40 plus passengers.
